Karli and Tyler met in the early Spring of 2021. Tyler was about to graduate from Keene State College and Karli had just gotten home from UNE for the summer before her senior year of college. Both of them were working summer jobs at the Keene YMCA; Karli as a gymnastics camp counselor and Tyler as a Wakonda camp counselor. Karli's coworker and Tyler's roommate who were dating at the time set them up with each other's numbers, and the rest is history!

The Stroshine's and family friends (shout out to the Langevins) were on a cruise to Bermuda in June 2025. The night before leaving for the cruise, Tyler asked Karli's parents, Chris and Kristen, for their blessings. When they said yes the planning began. One night, while docked in Bermuda, Tyler and Chris took a walk to scope out the best spot for Tyler to propose. They found a private beach just a short walk away from the port, and on that beach there was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. No one else in the group knew the proposal was going to happen so Tyler and Karli's parents had to work together to be creative in getting everybody to the right place. Collin and Ashlee, Karli's Brother and Sister-in-Law, were planning on taking maternity photos, and Chris knew the perfect spot! Once their photos were taken at the beach, Chris and Kristen asked to get some family photos and everyone navigated to the selected spot right as the sun was setting. It was then that Tyler proposed to Karli, and their next chapter began!
